Barbara Safford

Barbara Safford has lived in Carmichael for over 50 years and has been a dedicated ambassador, promoting our Carmichael Community during those years.

Over the past twenty-five years, Barbara has served on the Boards of the Carmichael Park and Recreational District, the Carmichael Park Foundation, the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Vice President of the Friends of the Carmichael Library Board. She was also honored to be the Grand Marshal for the 2021 Annual Elks Club Carmichael Fourth of July Parade.

She and her family frequently shop and dine local, enabling her to get to know and champion our small businesses.

ABC - Always Buy Carmichael, a previous slogan of the Carmichael Chamber, has been a meaningful reminder to her to spread the good word about our community businesses and their many successes.
