I made a move as a Mortgage Loan Officer to the Business Development Officer for California Capital Financial Development Corporation, which was chartered in 1982 as a 501(c) (3).

We are a non-profit, certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides access to capital and business development services to the small businesses in our communities through a variety of programs and initiatives.

We do this through: 

• Direct loans & loan guarantees via CA State Loan Guarantee Program
• Technical assistance (TA) to include One-on-One Business Counseling
• Financial education
• Business training and workshops

The TA is paid by public dollars, so when a business receives TA from us it is free for them! Also, a majority of our workshops are free as well.

I am grateful to work for the work I get to do for the small businesses in our communities.
