Today we were made aware that someone is impersonating the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and attempting to use our upcoming Best of Carmichael race as a phishing scam. 

DO NOT open emails from the email address "nick@calldmg.com," even if they say "Best of Carmichael 2026," and do not click on any links sent from this email address. 

The scam email being sent around is shown below for reference:

Official and legitimate Best of Carmichael 2026 notices will only be sent through our Carmichael Chamber Newsletter Platform and our Best of Carmichael Website via Voterfly.

If you notice any other suspicious online activity pertaining to the Carmichael Chamber, please let us know so we can make others aware and report any spam.
