San Juan Education Foundation Awards Grants Thanks to $100,000 Award from Link Logistics
Funding Transformational Projects at Six San Juan Unified Schools

Carmichael, CA — January 26, 2026 — The San Juan Education Foundation today announced the
awarding of educator grants to six schools across the San Juan Unified School District, made possible
through generous support from the Link Logistics Community Grants Program.
These grants fund transformational, site-based projects that strengthen learning environments, expand
access to modern tools and technology, and remove barriers to student success.
Grant-funded projects include:
• Casa Roble High School — $26,000
Upgrades to the school’s theatre lighting system will give students hands-on experience with
industry-standard technology while enhancing safety, instruction, and performance quality.
• Mira Loma High School — $20,000
Modernization of the Black Box Theatre lighting and control systems will create a safer, more
equitable performing arts space and provide students with real-world technical learning
opportunities.
• Dyer-Kelly Elementary School — $20,000
Improvements to instructional technology and student seating will support inclusive learning
environments, strengthen performing arts instruction, and expand access for English Learner and
intervention students.
• Coyle Avenue Elementary School — $19,000
Funding will add shade structures to outdoor spaces, creating cooler, flexible learning areas that
support differentiated instruction, collaboration, and whole-child learning.
• Will Rogers Middle School — $14,000
Professional-grade media equipment will strengthen the school’s student-produced news program,
amplifying student voice and increasing accessibility through improved production capabilities.
• Albert Schweitzer Elementary School — $5,000
The purchase of adaptive tricycles will create more inclusive and joyful play opportunities for
transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students of all abilities.
Funding for these projects was made possible through the receipt of a $100,000 grant from Link
Logistics’ Community Grants Program, which supports nonprofit organizations through infrastructure
investments that expand operational capacity and community impact.
“The San Juan Education Foundation is incredibly fortunate to benefit from
Link Logistics’ Community Grants Program,” said Colleen Cadwallader,

leadership and the support of our community, we recently surpassed a major

Unified educators since 2006.”
Guided by the vision of a San Juan Unified School District where funding is not a barrier to equitable
opportunity and access, the San Juan Education Foundation harnesses the power of philanthropy and
partnership to propel student achievement and enrich the lives of educators.

ABOUT SAN JUAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Public education in California has been underfunded for decades, leaving districts to navigate widening
gaps and shrinking resources. While state and federal funding provides some support, it is often
unpredictable, inflexible, and insufficient—particularly for communities facing historic inequities.
The San Juan Education Foundation exists to bridge those gaps by investing in educators, students, and
learning environments—ensuring bold ideas can become reality and every student has the opportunity to
thrive.
