The Stewardship Action Foundation (SAF) is providing FREE film plastic recycling containers and pick up!  

We have already delivered free recycling containers to businesses in the greater Sacramento Valley including  Burlington Coat Factory, CalEpic, Visions Recycling, the Aerospace Museum and Greentech at McClellan, and Fair Oaks-Orangevale Food Bank and want to work with YOUR business to continue this project!

The Flexible Film Recycling Alliance (FFRA), in partnership with 1-800-GOT-JUNK and SAF, is launching the Free Plastic Film Recycling Program — designed to make it easy for businesses to recycle plastic films generated.

Materials collected include:

• Clean and clear stretch wrap
• Shrink wrap
• Bubble wrap
• Polyethylene overwrap

How the program works:

• We provide a simple Rack n’ Pack collection system at no cost (the number of bins is determined in consultation with you)
• Your team collects clean plastic film during normal operations, only this time in a “Rack n Pack”
• 1-800-GOT-JUNK Picks-up the “bags in bags” and recycles them through their existing service routes (it’s FREE to you)
• You receive reports on the material collected and recycled

• No cost to your business… in fact, it likely will provide cost savings on disposal
• Minimal operational impact
• Reduce waste and improve sustainability
• Support California’s recycling goals under the Packaging Recycling Law of 2022
