🌟 Apply  for SMUD’s Shine Awards! 🌟

Nonprofits, chambers, and community organizations—SMUD’s Shine Program is now accepting applications for impactful local projects! SMUD is looking to support initiatives that focus on zero carbon workforce development, environmental justice, inclusive economic growth, and STEM education.

The 2026 Shine grant Application deadline is July 31st by 5 PM! 

💡 Funding Levels

• Spark: Up to $10,000 (25% match)
• Amplifier: $10,001–$50,000 (50% match)
• Transformer: $50,001–$100,000 (100% match)

🌎 Project Examples

• Energy-efficient lighting upgrades
• Facility and infrastructure improvements
• STEM programs for underserved youth

📍 All projects must serve communities within SMUD’s service area. Collaborations and joint applications are encouraged!
